I love taking snaps of events - popups, tastings, receptions - any where that there are people gathered and having a good time. I love moving about the crowds capturing moments that build a narrative of the evening.
I travel a bit, but of course not as much as I would like and always have a camera to hand to grab what catches my eye - faces, details, landscapes. I have a penchant for empty spaces that should be filled. Stadiums, theatres, cinemas...this might be my next project.
I think my favourite collection is Mike Brodie's Period of Juvenile Prosperity. I take so much inspiration from within that journey that it filters into my photography, writing, and thinking. It is my dream to one day create a collection of work that captures every facet of life in the way that Brodie's does. An impossible dream, but one worth chasing.
